The cross country skiing route and summer walks, pass just next to the chalet and a pleasant short walk past a few chalets brings you to some baby slopes ideal for youngsters or for learning new skiing skills. Ski school meets near the chair lift and Les Chosalets childrens beginners run is a few minutes walk. In summer fabulous walking, hiking, mountain biking in the mountains and all the entertainment of the world renowned town of Chamonix. The spectacular 18 hole golf course is just 10 minutes drive away, there are other PGA golf courses in Les Gets and Evian. The village of Argentiere (Chamonix) is a short walk with excellent restaurants and bars. The luxurious Grand Montet Hotel is next door with its cosy bar. There is a fine creperie at the bottom of the baby slopes.
