Camping Mer de Glace ***

Camping Mer de Glace is a 3* campsite in a large clearing, just a few minutes away from Chamonix and is a good starting point for the best hiking trails.

We enjoy magnificent views of the Mont-Blanc range and the environment of the campsite is peaceful; although Chamonix is only a short walk away we are situated far from the major roads. The most noise you will hear will be the tranquil sound of the nearby river! Camping Mer de Glace can offer you a very pleasant taste of life in the mountains.

We have a traditional campsite where you bring your own equipment: tent, caravan or camping-car. The campsite is fully equipped with hot showers, baby baths and wash rooms for dishes and laundry. You can access wi-fi or use the free internet terminals at reception while children will love the play area. We have a buvette selling hot and cold drinks and on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout July and August a pizza van arrives selling delicious freshly made pizzas.

Le camping se trouve dans une grande clairière à quelques minutes de Chamonix et au départ des principales randonnées.

La vue sur le massif du Mont-Blanc, ainsi que le cadre du Camping, situé loin des grands axes routiers, vous offriront une expérience très agréable de la vie de montagne.

Notre camping pratique le mode d’hébergement traditionnel il faut donc avoir son propre matériel : tente, caravane ou camping-car.
