Chalet Vincent represents a perfect blend of quiet location, easy accessibility and modern luxurious facilities.
Stand outside on the deck on a clear night and you’ll understand why Chalet Vincent got its name. The celestial canvas is a dazzling array of sparkling pinpricks, each flickering dot combining to illuminate the magnificent peaks of the Aiguille du Midi and looming Mont Blanc in a monochrome mountain masterpiece.
The chalet is a spacious 156m², there are 6 bedrooms, 3 baths and 4 WC's. The chalet was built with children in mind and is thus a perfect place for a family to spend a wintery week away.
The open plan living room features a large dining table and stunning views of Mont Blanc. Light pours in throughout the day with all of the large windows around. It has a large, open plan, modern kitchen with a 5 burner stove, double dishwasher, combined washer/dryer, small refrigerator and a small freezer. There is a small bar area that links the kitchen with the living room.
The downstairs area was built with kids in mind. There are two bunk rooms, both have a third bed that can be pulled out from underneath to sleep a third child. One of the bunk rooms has a bean bag couch as well as a TV/DVD/video game console & there is also a separate entrance from one bunk room to the garden. There is a twin/double bedroom as well. The twin beds can be zipped together to make a double bed.
The deck and large garden can be reached from the main living area. There is a large deck with a granite table that seats 6, and a small breakfast table that seats two people. There is a large deck with a large granite patio table, a medium sized coffee table with two chairs as well as a hanging, cushioned chair.There is a fabulous, self cleaning hot tub tucked up in the yard with a stereo/cd system as well as a champagne holder.
The chalet is one of the last on the small road so you can feel free to let your children run and play. The front yard is very spacious and the back yard runs up into the forest and walking trails. There is also a swing set set up behind the chalet.
Chalet Vincent nestles into the edge of the forest on the north side of Chamonix high above the valley floor in the area of Les Nants. The chalet’s south-facing terraces catch the sun for most of the day and offer without doubt some of the best views in the valley. The panoramic vista extends from Les Grands Montets and Les Drus one way all the way past Les Aiguilles, Le Midi and Mont Blanc right down the valley to the peaks above Les Houches.
Chalet Vincent is situated at the top end of a long private lane, far from the madding crowd and yet a short walk from the bustling town of Chamonix. This combination of seclusion, yet easy access to all the action does make for the perfect location for almost every occasion. We are only a 15 minute walk to town and are a 5 minute drive to Flegere and Brevent ski lifts and the golf course.
