La Cabane du Vieux Emosson Refuge, Chamonix
A simple lakeside cabin in the vicinity of Vallorcine by the Emosson Dam
A small refuge on the edge of the old Emosson lake with spectacular views out over the water.
This simple family-run shelter has 28 beds spread over two dormitories, with a small kitchenette, WC and washroom (cold water only).
The refuge offers half board, B&B or bed only for adults and children. Bedding is included in the price, but please bring your own sleeping bag liner or sheet.
When booking your reservation, you will be required to pay a 50% deposit up front. Bookings can be made up to 3 days in advance online. Following that you will need to call the shelter directly. Special diets (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc) can be catered for on request but please give them advance notice when booking.

This refuge is in a great location for accessing the many hiking trails around the Emosson dam area.
