The simply furnished Hotel El Paso is run by the same 'energetic' team as the club downstairs. Having 14 rooms there is a total capacity of 41 people. You have your choice of shared rooms or singles (depending on your luck in the club, presumably!? - but seriously you do actually need to book in advance). The prices are the most affordable in Chamonix starting from just €15 per night in a shared room, with breakfast taken in the restaurant on the ground floor. Get ready to meet people from around the world!

Downstairs from the hotel the establishment also runs a restaurant, also called La Cantina, serving up some of the most authentic and fun Mexican food this side of the border! The team here is something that you will never forget. The staff are all multi lingual with a great sense of humour, so get ready for the show! Being able to serve a large selection of vegetarian and grilled delights there really is something for everyone!

Right at the bottom La Cantina Club has a reputation for organising some of Chamonix's dubest dance nights, its success frequently attributed to the energy of the bar staff. As 'the' home of Chamonix's underground music scene, and quite literally undergroung situated a little out of the centre, La Cantina regularly brings in DJ's from around the world, as well as several local bands, throwing into the mix a loud selection of hip-hop, drum n bass, groove, and dub, making the small but highly-charged club go off until the early ours. La Cantina is quoted as a don't miss location for those into their nightlife with good reason. Don't expect to leave without serious tinitus!
