SkiBandB (Now SummerBandB) has just been refurbished to a really high standard with all the modern conveniences you'd hope for (including computerised steam showers, outdoor hot tub) but without losing the olde worlde charm you'd expect from a wooden chalet on the edge of a forest in the French Alps.
Our first ever guests said staying with us was 'just like staying with friends', and that's the best compliment we could receive because that's exactly what we're aiming for. "Initially very dubious when booking online,all looked a bit too good to be true. But Luckily for us it was all as described on the website. The pictures of the rooms dont do the chalet justice! Family rooms were very spacious,comfortable and really well priced. Brilliant friendly hosting that made it a real home from home... A very friendly relaxed environment , as my 15 yr old son said ' Its not like being in a real B and B its like staying at your friends house' Thats a real compliment and we will be back....

Share your stories with other guests around the roaring log-fire over a nice glass of wine or chill-out on the comfy sofa in the lounge listening to our large music collection or watching TV. Or head outside and you can be in the hot tub staring at the stars, perhaps with a nice glass of something bubbly!

Why go to a stuffy and boring hotel, or to an over-priced catered chalet when you can come to SummerBandB at sensible prices and have a much better time. We lay on a continental breakfast for you in the morning to set you up for your day's adventures, and the kitchen is free to use to make sandwiches and cook your dinner in the evening if you so wish.

We are a 5 minute drive from the centre of Chamonix, and we offer lifts in and out of town in the morning, early evening and up to 10pm.

We bought the chalet because we loved it and we want you to get as much enjoyment out of it as we do. Whatever we can do to make your stay more enjoyable just let us know. The only thing we ask is that you tell your friends how much you enjoyed your stay with us!
