The accommodation is simple, with an outside toilet and no hot showers. Be warned that the beds in the dormitory are side by side.
The refuge can be accessed from by taking the Brevent cable car from the centre of Chamonix and then walking on foot for approximately 45 minutes. Alternatively there is a trail from the Merlet Animal park in Les Houches.
Half board is available for €43 or just a bed will cost €22. You must book in advance.
The refuge is open from 25 June 2013 to 15 September 2013.
