Chamonet.com Newsdesk StaffBringing you all the news & events

Chris Richard [ Ski Editor ]

A director of the company behind Skinets.com, Chris is ultimately responsible for the sites and their content. Having produced much of the early content for the sites, Chris oversees the on-going work to improve standards. A serial seasonnaire since leaving university, Chris now only skis when the snow is in perfect conditions, the weather is fair and the queues are not existant - so about three times a season then!

James Fisher [ Ski Video Reporter ]

James was the first snow reporter for Valdinet.com and has since moved over to managing the video content across all of the Skinets.com websites. James has also worked for Henry's Avalanche Talks as a presenter and trainer - and so has extensive knowledge of the snow conditions and what they can mean. James snowboards and has been known to compete in Big Air competitions.

Mikey Bell [ Sales & Account Manager ]

After arriving in Chamonix many years ago to do a ski season, Mikey never made it back! Mikey looks after the accounts of all our partner businesses on the Skinets.com sites, when he is not at work he he can often be found rocking the mic on Sing Star nights.

Phil Smith [ Morzine/Avoriaz Snow Reporter ]

Phil has spent the last few years living in Morzine and is now considered a real local. He spends the winter skiing and boarding around the Portes du Soleil area bringing you the latest news on the snow conditions and what's going on in town. In the summer, he is generally to be found astride a mountain bike so he will be keeping you up to date with life in Morzine all year round.

Robin Deering [ Skinets Administration ]

Robin is responsible for managing the skinets.com sites across the Alps. Fluent in French, having lived in various parts of France since 2004. Enjoys nothing more than being outdoors whenever possible; snowboarding, climbing, biking or just having a drink on the terrace!

Victoria Jelinek-Jensen [ Film critic ]

Victoria worked for ten years in motion picture literary acquisitions and development in L.A. and N.Y.C. before moving to London and working in film education for another ten years. Victoria moved to Chamonix to pursue writing (travel & film articles and essays, copywriting, study guides) on a freelance basis, “I had to move to France to pursue the American dream,” and to live a quiet life in a beautiful environment with her husband and son.
