A selection of old pictures of the glaciers in the Chamonix Valley

In the Maison de la Mémoire et du Patrimoine, this exhibition will show how the first photographs (1855-1870) saw the glacial landscapes from the Bossons to the Mer de Glace, and some of the Swiss glaciers.
The sources for this exhibition are the private collections of Rémi Fontaine and others.
The museum, near the river, opens 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-19:00.
