The competition which kicked off in perfect conditions this week in Ravelstoke, BC will arrive in Chamonix on the Saturday 21st January. Athletes from all over the world are entered in a competition that always produces spectacular results. With Chamonix enjoying some of the best snow conditions in a decade the stage is set for an epic battle on Brevent's Hotel face.

Chamonix local and reigning World Champion Aurelien Ducroz will be back to defend his title and British snowboarder James Stentiford is also competing again this year.

Aurelien crashed out in the first stop in Canada this week and didn't make the podium, hopefully he'll find his feet under him next weekend in Chamonix and place in the top three in front of his home crowd.

James Stentiford has always performed well in the tour and has podiumed before in Chamonix. we're keeping our fingers crossed for him this year.
