Experience the perfect way to see areas of the valley that are otherwise inaccessible with Evolution 2. Are you looking for the ride of your life? Because these beautiful alpine rivers will turn into exhilarating playgrounds for fun!

Are you ready for an amazing white water rafting experience? Take on the swirling rapids, the beautiful scenery and churning waves of the alpine river with expert supervision and full safety equipment! Rafting is the ultimate white water team sport. The rafts can take between 4 and 10 people; it's an excellent way of sharing the thrill of a river descent with others and exploring otherwise inaccessible countryside.

Evolution 2 organises rafting trips down 3 local rivers of varying duration and difficulty: L’Arve is the nearest to Chamonix and is the most suitable for beginners and families with a minimum age of 6 years. Le Giffre in the Samoëns valley offers magnificent scenery and more challenging rafting; the minimum age is 10 years. La Dora Baltea is the ultimate rafting experience down one of the most famous and beautiful rafting routes in the Alps, in Italy – it can be quite a ride! The minimum age for this ride is 15 years.

Canoe rafting gives all the buzz of rafting and the thrill of being your own skipper! Also known as a "hot-dog", this inflatable boat is for 2 people and for descending rivers of varying degrees of difficulty. The canoe-raft is a good boat for enjoying the river to the full and riding the waves. This activity can be carried out on the rivers L’Arve (minimum age 12 years) and Le Giffre (minimum age 15 years).

Have you been rafting and are looking for the next challenge? Well you’ve found it! Hydrospeeding is body rafting down the rapids. Wearing a full wet suit, with flippers to propel you along and a foam river sledge that serves as both a rudder and a shield, the idea is to descend the river head first, using the currents. As with canoe-rafting, this activity can be carried out on the rivers L’Arve (minimum age 12 years) and Le Giffre (minimum age 15 years).

Canyoning is the ultimate adrenaline rush! You will abseil down waterfalls, slide down water-smoothed rocks, scramble over boulders and jump into pools of white water as you work your way down the canyon with our Evolution 2 qualified guides. You will be spending 2 to 3 hours in the fresh water with abseiling, water slides, jumps from 5 metres... a lot of fun guaranteed! This activity is open to anyone aged from 8 years old and who can swim. Canyoning with Evolution 2 will be either at Barberine (25 min drive from Chamonix) or Belle au Bois in Megève (35 min drive from Chamonix).

All of the above activities are restricted to summer months only (usually May to mid-September, weather dependant).
