Delayed Opening of the Top Lift at Grands Montets, Argentiere
More days needed to resolve technical issues with the lift
Compagnie du Mont Blanc have announced this morning that they will have to delay the opening of the top lift at Grands Montets for a few more days.
The top section of the cable car, has had issues with the braking system and new parts were ordered in last week in an attempt to fix it. Unfortunately they still need a few more days to ensure the lift is in proper working order, so instead of opening today, it will more likely be towards the latter part of the week.
In the mean time the cable car to the mid station (Lognan) is working.
