easyBus comes to Chamonix

easyBus are launching their first European route with a non stop service operating between Geneva Airport and Chamonix commencing on 20 December 2014.

This brand new year-round service will operate 32 times per day making it the most frequent timetabled service in the valley. Based on easyBus's traditional low cost proposition, prices start from as little as €5 per trip. The first bus will leave Chamonix each day at 04:15 and the last bus will leave Geneva at 00:45.

As an additional sweetner, easyBus are offering 15,000 introductory seats on sale at only 2 euros each. Bookings can be made via their website from Monday 1 December onward.

Operated in partnership with SARL Chamexpress, the Geneva to Chamonix route was selected because of the high volume of demand that exists between the two locations and the low level of budget options available year-round.

Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, “easy” brand owner, commented: “For too long Alpine sports fans have found airport transfers expensive and difficult. We will provide a high quality service for them and their equipment, at a value-for-money price. I’m confident we can make a big impact on Chamonix’s year-round skiing, climbing and hiking holiday seasons.”

With prices this low we have now doubt that this will be a popular service.
