First lift assisted turns of the season...it's still November but the Chamoinx Valley will be open for skiing and snowboarding this coming weekend.

For the weekend of 28th & 29th November certain lifts at Grands Montets and Les Houches will open for those who are already in the valley and those keen beans who want to flex their muscles and test out their gear ahead of the crowds.

For the day skiers without an annual or season pass, you can get a unique rate on a day passof 27€ (single price). Area opens from 09:00 and cash desks will be open from 08:40 until 16:40. Area closing at 16:30.

At Grands Montets they are expecting to open the Telepherique Grands Montets, Telepherique Lognon, Telecabine Bochard, Telecabine Plan Joran and the Chairlift Marmottons. With the blue Marmottons piste and the red Bochard piste being ready for action. (The opening is of course subject to the last technical ongoing operations on the area.)

**Be careful of those rocks off piste! Conditions are not yet ideal for off piste skiing.

At Les Houches the current plan is to open the Maisonneuve chairlift only. This may change in coming days if conditions improve but for now the red piste of Maisonneuve will be the only skiing on offer  at Les Houches. For the day skiers without an annual or season lift pass, get a unique rate on a day pass of 15€ (single price). Area opens from 09:00 and cash desks will be open from 08:50 until 16:00. Area closing at 16:00.

Tip: Park at the Chavants carpark and get one of the free shuttles (22people max per shuttle) that will rotate from 09:00 until 16:00 between Chavants carpark & Maisonneuve carpark. Last trip from Maisonneuve at 16:30.

Please note: the Grands Montets area will open definitely for the season the following Saturday, on December 5th 2015. For the non-skiers the Montenvers – Mer de Glace train is open every day.
