More Benefits with Your MBU Season or Annual Pass

No more trips via Montenvers before heading through the Tunnel

We've discovered a few additional bonuses to buying a season or annual MBU lift pass this morning which we thought you might be keen to hear, plus a handy tip if you're thinking of heading over to Les Contamines..

The great news is that if you're driving over to Courmayeur or Aosta this winter, you no longer need to head to Montenvers to pick up a tunnel pass for the Mont Blanc Tunnel first, this will all be taken care of at the tunnel ticket office. Hurrah. The price should be around 13.50€ one way.

You still get three day tickets (coupons) to ski in the Haute Savoie resorts, which we had previously thought wasn't going to be included after the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area was added for the first time this year. Speaking of the Evasion ski area, if you're going to be skiing in Les Contamines, you need to pass through one of the ticket offices in Megeve or St Gervais first to register your pass. You only need to do this once for the season, however you will have first needed to have used the pass in the Chamonix Valley before registering it over there.

Your MBU pass is valid now in Chamonix on the Brevent lifts, the Montenvers Train & the Aiguille du Midi, although you'll have to wait until 1st December to use it in Verbier. If you head to Verbier you'll need to register your pass and coupon at the ticket office each time you go. You can only use it once per week.

Don't forget, whenever you're skiing outside the Chamonix Valley with your MBU pass, to take your receipt of purchase with you as well as the coupons which you'll get when you pick up your ski pass, as if you can't show it when asked you may have to pay full price.
