New Mountain Bike Trail for Le Tour Next Summer
Work started last week on a new trail from the mid station at Le Tour
If you've not been up to Le Tour recently then you'll have missed the digger that's started work on the new mountain bike trail that leads off to the left from the top of the Charamillon gondola.
In the photo above you can make out the digger's progress so far, with a few berms that have already been loosely shaped at the start of the new trail.
Compagnie du Mont Blanc have confirmed today that they had applied for a new green trail to be built and that they've just been granted permission to start working on it.
The trail should be around 4km long once completed and will include a few bridges and other features. Work is set to be completed in early summer 2015.
