November Maintenance on the Aiguille du Midi Cables
Autoroute Blanche diverted for most of November
Each Novemeber crucial maintenance is carried out on the Aiguille du Midi, and this November they're set to replace the cables from the bottom of the lift to the mid station.
The work will take place from 3rd to 27th November inclusive and as a result a diversion will be put in place through Chamonix Sud and around Allée Rectuer Payot before rejoining the Route du Bouchet (see the diversion in green above).
Special access to the Carrefour supermarket & petrol station will be allowed via Rue Helbronner.
