Spanish Mountaineer Found Dead in His Tent near the Cosmiques Hut
Investigation under way into the cause of the man's death
More sad news this week as a 38 year old Spanish mountaineer was found dead in his tent by his climbing partner on Wednesday morning.
Climbers regularly bivvy at the foot of the Cosmiques refuge, and are allowed to do so from sunset to sunrise at an altitude of 3,352 metres.
It is unclear at this stage as to what caused the man's death, and an investigation is under way.
