Situated up at the top end of town near the train station Chambre 9 is one of the favourite meeting places for locals and visitors alike. You'll find tourists, alpinists, “extreme skiers” and plenty of Scandinavians meeting to talk about their days at altitude.

During the day why not make it a habit to come and take morning coffee, read the paper and listen in on the goings-on of local life at the bar? Should you be around at lunchtime you'll find Chambre 9 is mainly offering classic international cooking. Try the special of the day inspired from Sweden, France or Asia or their well-tasty burgers! In the summer, the shady terrace is always tempting for a long relaxing lunch or a lazy Sunday afternoon...and everyday is like a Sunday in Chamonix!

All afternoon, from after the day's activities until aperitif hour, the bar is open for a tea, a beer or maybe something stronger! 8-10pm is Happy Hour with a wide selection of cocktails on promotion! In winter, from after skiing Chambre 9 is open for some proper partying and throughout the evenings, anytime, the bar is one of the town's happening hotspots with live music on several nights a week.
