Untracked powder : 16th January 2012

It feels like we haven't had any new snow in a while (in reality it's only been just over a week!) But no need to worry, thanks to persistent low temperatures we are still living in a winter wonderland.

Conditions remain good and can be great if you look around a little. The pistes are getting a little scratchy in places but with snow making by night they are soon back in condition.

What's more, after just a 10 min walk up above and away from the lifts in Les Houches, I was able to grab a couple of hundred metres of untracked powder in my lunch break today.

The good news is there's more snow forecast as we gear up in preparation for the Kandahar weekend at the beginning of next month.
