Our snow reports (and the summer updates) are your guide to the resort's pistes and activities, mixed in with news, views and gossip from around the slopes. We aim to offer more than just stats about snow depths, and we always give you an honest and frank account of what the snow is really like. We want to give you the best information to help you make decisions as to when and where to ski. We try and keep the reports coming regularly, especially when the snow is falling; but even when conditions aren't great we'll give you plenty of ideas and insiders' tips on where to go and how amuse yourself on the slopes. It all started with our Snow Report, now we have employed our own 'Apres-ski Instructor' with the latest round of the the goings on 'off the piste' (or should that be 'on the piste'!) in the resort's bars and clubs, as well as other interesting venues. Our eyes and ears in the resort can give you an a prompt and honest report when snow falls - allowing you to keep abreast of the latest information and perhaps sneak a cheeky weekend's skiing in. Over the past years we've found that some of the best snow in Chamonix falls when the resort - and therefore the slopes - are all but empty. These happy occurrences have provided us with some of the best skiing we've ever had - and often come at quiet times in the season when many of the best deals are to be found.
