Overnight snowfall : 20th October 2011

Many of us in the Alps woke up to views of white mountains this morning. In Chamonix, as the clouds cleared, we were greeted with beautiful blue skies and a covering of fresh snow on higher ground. This is the second time we have seen snow this month. The weekend of 7th-9th saw relatively low snow fall. And the first fall was the weekend of 18th & 19th September.

The snow may not have reached resort this time but seeing the fresh, white snow high on the mountains is enough to get us (even more) excited about the forthcoming season! To check it out for yourself, view our webcams.
