| We're all very excited about the new Brevent gondola that will be up and running in time for Christmas 2008. Increasing the capacity of the lift from 1350 to 3000 people per hour, the larger 8-10 person cabins should make lift queues a thing of the past. The new top station will be built higher up, towards the Altitude 2000 mountain restaurant, allowing skiers direct access to the slopes instead of taking the cranky old 2-man chair (now relegated to a museum!) Our image here gives you a bird's eye view on how the construction work is progressing. |
