11:30 - 14:00 | Event : Boss des Bosses - Inter Resort Moguls Comp
Venue : Grands Montets, Argentière
Now in its 19th year, the Boss des Bosses inter resort moguls race will take place on the Grands Montets today from 11.30am. Teams from Courchevel, Meribel, Val Thorens, Zermatt, Val d’Isere and Chamonix will compete against each other on a knee shattering bumps course for the Boss des Bosses crown. This year, the event will also be welcoming a team from Verbier for the first time in 10 years!!
Each team is made up of 13 competitors; 9 skiers (7 male/2 female), 2 boarders (unisex) and 2 telemarkers (strong thighs) who race head to head in pairs with the rival resorts. It’s not just speed and style on the bumps that will be put to the test; the course ends in a Big Air jump that that will have you craning your necks skywards as all concept of self-preservation is forgotten.
Memorable moments from previous years include the furry suited cat and mouse duo from Meribel’s Magic in Motion, world renowned freeskier Glenn Plake skiing for the Chamonix team and his wife Kimberley cranking some huge air in an orange day-glo bikini!
There will be crowds of resort workers bussed in from all over the alps so make sure you come along to support the local Chamonix team and reigning champs!
The apres party carries on afterwards at La Terrasse with live music from the Juggernaut of Rock and prize giving; and fun and shennanigans will continue into the small hours at Le Vert and The Clubhouse.

14:00 - 15:00 | Event : Happy Hour in the HO5 Snowpark!
Venue : Grands Montets Snow Park
In order to maintain a lively atmosphere on the Grands Montets, the HO5 Park organises entertainments between 2pm and 3pm every other Wednesday afternoon in the snowpark, in the form of competitions to find the best jump, the most fun jump etc. And there’ll be prizes for the winners!

17:30 - 20:00 | Event : Blind Poets
Venue : Bard Up
Chamonix favourites, the Blind Poets are back in town and playing a limited number of gigs in Chambre 9 (Saturdays) and Bard’Up (Wednesdays) this month. Headed up by Rangan, the lead singer (and surely the tallest man in Chamonix!), the band has a fantastic playlist of songs spanning the last 3 decades. It seems that there is no song they can’t play – and to prove it, buy them a shot and they’ll play anything you like. If you manage to stump them, they seem quite happy to remove items of clothing as a forfeit. Win : win!! Don’t miss them – they’re brilliant and only here until March 22nd!

Welcome to CHA CHA CHA. A new concept in Chamonix!
Situated at the end of the main street in Chamonix Centre, CHA CHA CHA offers a new experience in Chamonix. Stylishly renovated into a fabulous wine merchant CHA CHA CHA opened its door to the public just before Christmas 2007.
Every evening at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm CHA CHA CHA holds wine tasting evenings. The schedule changes on a fortnightly basis but evenings such as the following can be expected:
- Bordeaux versus Bourgogne
- Les Champagnes
- Les Whiskies
- La Vallée du Rhône versus La Loire
- La Savoie et la Jura
- Les Bières
