This charming homely alpine apartment is situated in a very central location just a minutes walk from the main high street where you'll find all the shops, bars and restaurants.
The apartment has a homely interior where you can relax in the evenings after a day mountain. The living space includes a sofa and two armchairs, a dining table for four and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a combination microwave/grill oven, a ceramic hob and a fridge.
At the far end of the living area there is access to a lovely balcony overlooking the river and with views of the Mont Blanc range. It's a great spot for enjoying alfresco meals in the summer or a well-deserved cup of tea or perhaps a vin-chaud after a day on the slopes in the winter.
Other facilities of the apartment are a flat-screen TV, DVD player, WiFi access and a ski locker.
The apartment sleeps up to four in one twin bedroom and on a double sofa bed in the living room.
This property is let on a self-catering basis, however, this doesn’t mean you need to cook for yourself! There are a number of private chefs you can book who can prepare your meals for the full week or the odd night. Alternatively you could opt for a food delivery service.

You’ll need to organise your own bike hire when staying here. Things to consider are the type of bike you want to rent such as road, mountain, hard trail and/or an electric bike; and whether you’ll need helmets and protective clothing with your rental. You’re best off choosing a shop that is close to your accommodation for ease of access, and making it quicker to return the bike and pay at the end. Some companies may also deliver so it’s worth looking at all the options.

You’ll need to book your own ski hire, when staying here. There are many choices for hiring equipment. Generally, you’re best off choosing somewhere close for ease of access, & less far to carry your kit, easier to make changes, and quicker to return and pay at the end. Nevertheless, many suppliers will deliver and some snow-front rental stores offer ski lockers, so it’s worth checking out all the options.

Les Praz has a small but reliable choice of restaurants, both on and off the ski area. The renowned Rendezvous Restaurant is a great option for local Savoyard classics and traditional French cuisine. If you're celebrating a special occasion, you can head to La Cabane des Praz, near the golf course, for some fine dining or the Eden Restaurant, serving a wonderful combination of contemporary and classic French cuisine, while if you prefer a simple pizza or pasta lunch, Le Castel is a good choice.

The nearest golf course to Chamonix centre is the Golf Club de Chamonix, an 18 hole course in Chamonix Les Praz, near to the Flegere lift station. It has a driving range, club house and pro-shop where you can stock up on all the essentials. They hold regular competitions throughout the summer, the course is closed in winter.

There is direct access to the Flegere ski area from the centre of Les Praz, via the cable car that glides over the local golf course up to 1877 metres. From there you can not only enjoy the vast array of moderate, challenging and difficult runs in Flegere but also Brevent, to which it is connected via the 'Liaison' cable car. Flegere is also one of the favourite areas among locals for off-piste skiing.

Avenue Michel Croz is at the heart of the winter apres-ski scene, with live music and DJs playing at a variety of bars. If you prefer a more civilised drink that doesn't involve dancing on the tables, then head to the Rue des Moulins for chic wine bars and excellent restaurants. Chamonix Sud also has a cluster of bars that attract the younger crowd and seasonal workers. Chamonix has three nightclubs, one on the Rue des Moulins and another two in Chamonix Sud.
