7 bedroom Chalet in Chamonix. Sleeps 15

Featured in:

This beautiful chalet is situated in a tranquil location within 10-15 minute walk from the centre of resort. It offers a stylish contemporary interior that has been tastefully decorated to combine traditional features with modern conveniences.

At the heart of the chalet there is a very spacious sitting, living and dining room with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. You can look forward to returning from the mountain and unwinding on the large red leather sofas and armchairs centred around the log fireplace. Alternatively at the far end of the room is a separate sitting area with squishy L-shaped sofa where you can switch off in front of a film.

Outside you'll find a delightful terrace with stunning views of Mont Blanc. And what better way to enjoy this beath-taking scenery than from the chalet's 8-seater jacuzzi!

For entertainment throughout your holiday you'll find a flat screen LCD TV with UK channels, a collection of films, TV shows and music, a fully equipped bar and free WiFi access.

For those staying in the winter months, you'll be pleased to know there is a ski room where you can store all your equipment and it has heated boot warmers!

Sleeping

The chalet can accommodate up to 15 people in seven bedrooms. They are made up of three double bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, two double/twin attic bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a triple bedroom. The rooms share a further two bathrooms.

If you have a larger party of 19 guests, a further 4 people can sleep in their Mazot property right next door to the chalet.

Dining

You have the option to be catered for or go self-catered with this chalet. With a catered holiday you can look forward to hot breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes and a superb three-course evening meal including wine 6 nights a week.

What else to book

Transfers

Catered Chalet holidays include return airport transfers to Geneva Airport as well as a complimentary ski shuttle service locally.

Atlernatively, you’ll need to book your own transfers when staying here. Your main options are shared or private transfers, but consider whether you would prefer a door-to-door service or a (generally cheaper) “communal” drop-off point at your destination.

Ski Hire

You’ll need to book your own ski hire, when staying here. There are many choices for hiring equipment. Generally, you’re best off choosing somewhere close for ease of access, & less far to carry your kit, easier to make changes, and quicker to return and pay at the end. Nevertheless, many suppliers will deliver and some snow-front rental stores offer ski lockers, so it’s worth checking out all the options.

Instructors & Lessons

When staying here, you’ll need to book  your own ski or snowboard lessons. Tuition is strongly recommended for complete beginners and is always a good idea whatever your level to perfect your technique. Group lessons are a great way for children to learn with their peers whilst giving you some free time on the slopes. Groups are also a generally cheaper option for adults, however, with a private instructor you’ll have undivided attention and be able to progress at your own pace.

Guides & Tours

When staying here, you’ll need to book your own Guides & Tours, which are a great way to discover Chamonix whilst doing a number of fun activities. During the winter, if you are keen to go off-piste, booking a High Mountain Guide is strongly recommended. Not only do they know the best local spots, these highly trained and experienced individuals are very familiar with the surroundings and can provide loads of insights you won’t get by yourself, as well as helping to ensure your safety.

Visitor comments

  • "15 of our wedding party stayed in the chalet and the owners of the chalet/le Vert Hotel produced a BBQ one evening, wedding reception the following day and brunch the day after that for about 70 guests. All superb in all respects." - Trip Advisor
  • "wow...this place was so incredibly wonderful for a stay of between several days to a week for my niece's wedding. Flo and her husband were so gracious and helpful in every way. The place is beautiful with incredible view of Mont Blanc and the glacier. I would recommend this chalet in a heartbeat." - Trip Advisor
  • "This chalet was absolutely perfect. The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the chalet and the surrounding mountains. Barney was helpful in scheduling a white water trip for some of our group, Ryan was a perfectly wonderful chef who cooked two of our meals and Flo was a delight in every way to make sure we had all we needed. I would not hesitate a second to rent this chalet. A perfect place for a perfect vacation!" - Trip Advisor
