Featured in:

Brigitte's Mazot in Chamonix is a cosy, peaceful, little chalet, with a stunning view of Mont Blanc.

Situated in the area of Les Moussoux, it is an easy stroll in to the town centre yet you can relax on a delightful south-facing balcony in peace and enjoy the mountains.

Inside this romantic property there is one large studio room with double sofa bed, corner kitchen with fridge, microwave-combi oven and 2 ring hob. There is also a shower room. Guests are able to park on the property.

There are some amazing hikes straight from this small chalet to the Brevent side where the 'Petit Balcon' route goes all the way to the top of the valley.

The Chalet is run by Collineige. This company offers you superlative service, world class cuisine and complete flexibility. They are committed to providing a memorable holiday and aim to meet if not exceed your expectations. Chamonix staff are either locals or devoted Francophiles which means that they can open all the right doors for you and ensure that you enjoy the many pleasures of the real France.

What else to book

Transfers

You’ll need to book your own transfers when staying here. Your main options are shared or private transfers, but consider whether you would prefer a door-to-door service or a (generally cheaper) “communal” drop-off point at your destination.

Ski Hire

You’ll need to book your own ski hire, when staying here. There are many choices for hiring equipment. Generally, you’re best off choosing somewhere close for ease of access, & less far to carry your kit, easier to make changes, and quicker to return and pay at the end. Nevertheless, many suppliers will deliver and some snow-front rental stores offer ski lockers, so it’s worth checking out all the options.

Lifts & Passes

You’ll need to buy your own lift pass, when staying here. Lift passes can be booked online or bought in resort on arrival. There are many types of pass available, suited to different levels, length of stay and budget. It’s worth reading up on the options to get the most from your lift pass in summer & winter.

Instructors & Lessons

When staying here, you’ll need to book  your own ski or snowboard lessons. Tuition is strongly recommended for complete beginners and is always a good idea whatever your level to perfect your technique. Group lessons are a great way for children to learn with their peers whilst giving you some free time on the slopes. Groups are also a generally cheaper option for adults, however, with a private instructor you’ll have undivided attention and be able to progress at your own pace.

Guides & Tours

When staying here, you’ll need to book your own Guides & Tours, which are a great way to discover Chamonix whilst doing a number of fun activities. During the winter, if you are keen to go off-piste, booking a High Mountain Guide is strongly recommended. Not only do they know the best local spots, these highly trained and experienced individuals are very familiar with the surroundings and can provide loads of insights you won’t get by yourself, as well as helping to ensure your safety.

Families & Kids

You’ll need to book your own childcare, when staying here. There is a great choice of childcare options in Chamonix from full-time nanny services to the odd night of babysitting. In addition, during the winter season, many of the ski-schools operate creche services. Booking in advance is always recommended and strongly advised for the school holiday periods.
