Chamonix Dump Alert: 14th April 2016

After a chilly and wet day in Chamonix yesterday we woke to slightly cloudy skies, and a fair bit of fresh snow coming down to around 1500 metres. 

More snow is predicted Friday, Saturday & Sunday this week too. Take a look at the detailed forecasts for more information. 

Fresh snow fall *stats this morning are as follows:

  • Aiguille du Midi -10cm
  • Grands Montets - 25cm-40cm
  • Brevent - 25cm
  • Flegere - 24cm
  • Le Tour / Balme - 13cm
  • Les Houches - 3cm

The avalanche risk is currently set at 3/5 across the valley.
