We've had the mother of all dumps overnight, with around 30cm in Chamonix centre along and much, much more up on the mountain.
Fresh snow overnight is as follows
- Chamonix Centre - 30cm
- Aiguille du Midi - tbc
- Grands Montets - 90cm at 1972m - 1metre at 3275m
- Flegere - 90cm at 1890m
- Brevent - 80cm at 2000m
- Le Tour - 85cm at 1850m
- Les Houches - 50cm at 1800m
- St Gervais & Megeve - 50cm at 1840m & 50cm at 1840m
- Les Contamines - 60cm at 1880m & 60cm at 2450m
The avalanche risk has gone up to 4/5 so there's a very high risk of slides.
At the time of writing lots of lifts are planned to open at around 10am. To check in this morning and throughout the day, take a look at our Live Lift Status page.
