This winter, the Albert Premier have the pleasure of introducing to the works of Bernadette Genoud-Prach in the Couloir des Artistes of the Maison Carrier.
Bernadette learned to carve wood with her father. From 1955 to 1960 she was at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs (ENSAD), including two years at Robert Couturier sculptor's studio.
In the summer of 1959 she began wood engraving and never stopped. Her favourite theme are the trees and mountains, with black and white being her preference.
The exhibition then runs through the whole winter season until early May 2017.
