84 year old acends Mont Blanc, for the 14th time!
Last 20th September Pierre Persat, reached the summit of Mont Blanc (~4807m) for the 14th time in his climbing career which only started after this 40th birthday.
It was no record time but the grandfather explained he was there to watch the sun rise over Wester Europe's roof, despite the freezing northerly winds which were blowing.
