Cheaper Day Passes

featured in News & reviews Author Ellie Mahoney, Chamonix Editor Updated

The Compagnie de Mont Blanc has cut their prices for the end of the season. A ‘Chamonix le Pass' day pass has been reduced from 36€ to 30,60€ and the four hour option will now cost you 25,10€.

The season is winding down with the closure of the Brévent-Flegère and the Le Tour ski areas this weekend (Sunday 22nd April). But if you still need a snow fix, the Grands Montets, where the coverage is still good, will remain open until Tuesday 8th May. The Pierre à Ric homerun to Argentière, which held out until the beginning of this week, is now closed, however conditions are great for the time of year above 2000m.

Don't forget the Freeride Days festivities, which traditionally mark the last day on the hill, will take place prior to the mountain's closure this year on 29th April. The masses will assemble at Lognon where they are treated to thrills from the experts grinding on the massive rail, and spills from the amateurs attempting to make it across the water slide.

Music, food, booze and fancy dress (the theme this year is Rock ‘n' Roll) make for a carnival atmosphere, so come and make the most of what is always a memorable day on the hill.
