Discover the Two Sides of Mont Blanc

Haute Savoie and Vallée d'Aoste are adjacent regions located either side of the French-Italian border at the foot of Mont Blanc. For the first time tourist boards representing the two areas are working together to jointly promote the Alpine region.

An initiative to synchronise forthcoming events on both sides on the Alps will enable holidaymakers to plan a trip across the border according to what is going on at the time. The revised calendar will take into account; World Cup Skiing, The Tour De France, and The Mont Blanc Ultra Trail, as well as little-known cultural and artistic exhibitions.

Another product of the cross-border cooperation will be a new tourist card, available and valid in Haute Savoie and Vallée d'Aoste. Holders of the card will benefit from preferential tariffs for entrance to museums, exhibitions and sporting events on both sides of the Alps.

The possibilities will become clear in June when an initiation day will be held.
