Geneva aiport closed by snow falls
Geneva airport was closed for more than 8 hours on Sunday causing disruption to flights and thousands of passengers. This was the most significant closure of the airport for 20 years.
The problem was related to more than 10cm of snow on the tarmac, which would have prevented braking, which could not be clear in time.
