IT'S SNOWING!!!
Look what greeted us when we opened the curtains this morning.....SNOW!! Yes, today Chamonix has a buzz of excitement about it as the first snowfall of the winter settles in town. There might be barely a centimetre of it but it's white, it's cold and we can slide on it!
With temperatures dropping and more snow forecast across the Alps in the next few days, things are looking promising for the start of season. Grand Montets and Brévent/Flégère are scheduled to open on December 3rd and Le Tour will be welcoming it's first skiers and boarders on December 17th.
Although it's looking a little cold and dark in Chamonix town this morning, check out our web cams because it's a whole different story up there……!
