New ski route from Edinburgh with Jet2
Low cost airline Jet2.com is to begin operating flights from Edinburgh to Chambery in the French Alps this winter, the Travelmole website reports.
From December 15, the airline will begin a twice weekly service, operating on Saturdays and Sundays with fares starting from £28.99 including taxes.
Jet2.com also operates flights to Chambery from Leeds/Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.
The airline is currently offering a sale on tickets to all its ski destinations - Chambery from £4.99 (one-way, excluding charges), Salzburg from £9.99 and Geneva from £4.99. Extras such as travel insurance, car hire and ski and snowboard hire can also be booked via the Jet2.com website.
