Test the latest gear at the SNO!zone
Here's something to get you in the mood for the winter - this weekend (September 29th and 30th) will see a new kind of event at SNO!zone in Milton Keyne's Xscape centre - the SNO!show, which will be the largest demo event held in the UK.
On display will be many of the latest skis and boards, which members of the public will be able to test out on the indoor snow slope, as well as receiving tuition from the likes of New Generation ski school and Method snowboard school. There will also be avalanche talks, boot-fitting clinics and a big-air display from several of the UK's leading freestylers.
Expect to see all the top names from the UK snowsports industry such as; Rossignol, Burton, Scott, Nordica, Dynastar, and Head, with over 50 different stands to browse.
Entry to the event is free, although you'll have to buy time on the snow slope (from £16 an hour for adults, and £13 an hour for children) if you want to try out any gear. The show is open from 10am – 6pm both days and you can find out more via the link below.
