The New Face of the Montenvers Train Station
The revamped Montenvers train station is beginning to take shape. The historic terminus of the cog railway, which links Chamonix with the Mer de Glace, has been in the process of renovation for almost a year. The redevelopment to date has completely changed the face of the station. The coming months will see the existing car park flattened, and replaced by a leafy square with a central granite staircase.
