Finhaut Heli-Skiing Trip, Chamonix

Heliskiing trip in Finhaut for up to 6 people

featured in Flying & flights

Looking for something special, something a little bit different or a once in a lifetime treat? Then you have found the ultimate experience on the doorsteps of Chamonix!

Your helicopter will whisk you away to virgin mountains and untouched slopes, far from the crowd and busy lift queues.  The best snow in the Alps will be at your fingertips and under your feet.

As heliskiing is not allowed in France this trip takes place in Finhaut on the French-Swiss border which is only 30 minutes from Chamonix by car (transfer from Chamonix is included). The helicopter will whisk you up to the landing at Trient plateau at “Col des Plines” 3300m! one of the best spots around Chamonix with a long flight and a long downhill and most of the time spent on fresh snow on the north and east side.

You will finish skiing around 1300-1100m depending on the route selected by your Guide and the snow conditions.

You can choose from 1 or 2 helicopter flights with one or two downhills from this spot.

There are 3 choices for the first downhill

  1. By “Combe d’Orny glacier” and Orny valley finishing close to Orsières
  2. By  “ Saleina Glacier” finishing at Praz-de-Fort
  3. By “Ravines Rousses” glacier finishing at Praz-de-Fort

The second downhill will be By “Trient” glacier to the little village of Trient 1300m. Then back to Finhault from where the morning started.
