Alan Peru Restaurant Review

Excellent Asian-Fusion Restaurant with Good Vegetarian Choices

featured in Restaurant reviews Author Jan Ogorzalek, Ski Editor Updated

Alan Peru is a modern-looking Asian-fusion restaurant just up the street from the Aiguille du Midi lift in Chamonix Sud. It's got a good atmosphere and is a popular spot for locals as well as holiday makers, with generous portions and a 3 course 15 Euro lunch menu which changes everyday.

We dropped by for lunch and had a duck pate starter which was served with bread and a side salad, followed by a tartiflette (also served with a side salad and some cold meats), finished with a peach tart served with vanilla ice-cream (see pics).

The staff are friendly and attentive and the menu has something for all tastes. I would highly recommend the lunch menu, however the dinner menu is also reasonably priced and offers and good variation to the traditional Savoyard celebration of all things potato and cheese!

If you're looking for a good value, lively restaurant with a broad menu that's also good for veggies and vegans then you should definitely give it a try.

What they say:

Drop in for a bowl of Yaki Noodles and a glass of wine from our extensive selection of both French and New World Wines. To finish, try our Chocolate Sushi accompanied by the best Cafe Latte in town! Alan Peru offers something for everyone.
