The Pool

The stunning indoor swimming pool with a waterfall is located in the Spa by Nuxe. This chic space includes comfortable hanging wicker cone shaped chairs around a roaring fire place.

The Bar

The lounge bar has a feel of modern mixed with retro design from the 60's or 70's. Enjoy some live music over the winter months or sit back and relax with the papers or sup on a fine cocktail. Sweet and savoury nibbles are served from 16:00 to midnight.

The Restaurant

The main restaurant s located on the ground floor of the hotel and is open from 19:00 to 22:00. The menu incorporates local produce and has the old savoyarde favourites like raclette and fondue, as well as seasonal specialities. The wine menu compliments what's on offer from the chef at the time.

What else to book

Transfers

You’ll need to book your own transfers, when staying here. Your main options are shared or private transfers, but consider whether you would prefer a door-to-door service or a (generally cheaper) “communal” drop-off point at your destination.

Ski Hire

The hotel has its own in-house ski hire shop stocking the biggest names in skis and snowboards. It's over 90m2 and is totally dedicated to winter sports. Whether you are looking for ski poles, winter clothing, bags, sun protection, sunglasses, gloves, helmets, or masks, the ski shop also has a huge range of accessories for sale to help you enjoy your stay. With a ski room and lockers also available, the ski shop has everything you need for your time on the slopes, and can arrange lessons to suit all levels. Instructors & Lessons

When staying here, you’ll need to book  your own ski or snowboard lessons. Tuition is strongly recommended for complete beginners and is always a good idea whatever your level to perfect your technique. Group lessons are a great way for children to learn with their peers whilst giving you some free time on the slopes. Groups are also a generally cheaper option for adults, however, with a private instructor you’ll have undivided attention and be able to progress at your own pace.

Guides & Tours

When staying here, you’ll need to book your own Guides & Tours, which are a great way to discover Chamonix whilst doing a number of fun activities. Not only do they know the best local spots, these highly trained and experienced individuals are very familiar with the surroundings and can provide loads of insights you won’t get by yourself, as well as helping to ensure your safety.

Visitor comments

  • "We stayed one night in Chamonix and were grateful that there was such a great value available. Extra points for the hotel being open continuously, even in the off season! Our room was very clean and had all the amenities (including the best hair dryer I had during our week tour of France). Make sure to bring your swimsuit as they have a very nice pool and spa area. The staff were friendly and very accommodating." - Trip Advisor
  • "Ultra modern hotel at an affordable rate. Staff are friendly and the hotel's design was very welcoming. We travel with two kids 3yo and 18months. The location is superb right outside Aiguille du Midi cable car. Couldn't ask for more. We will surely stay there again for our next visit." - Trip Advisor
  • "Nice rooms, the spa area includes the basics: a pool, hot tub, steam rooms and saunas-but the ice room is quite unique! The swings off the far end of the pool are great for relaxing while enjoying a cup of their herbal tea. We traveled by train, this is 3 blocks from the train station. Be sure to get off at the du Midi stop though. The lift is just out the front door." - Trip Advisor
