Mountaineers in 200m fall in Chamonix
In the Couloir Couturier leading to the Aiguille Verte
Two mountaineers were on a couloir leading to the summit of the Aiguille Verte on Tuesday afternoon when they fell.
It's not clear what caused them to fall, but the route is known to be particularly challenging.
One of the pair suffered head injuries as a result of the fall and is being treated in hospital.
