Helicopter crash at the Emosson Dam
Workers on board had a lucky escape
An Air Glaciers helicopter crashed early yesterday morning, as it was approaching the Emosson Dam to drop off workers.
Valais Police reported that the helicopter blades struck the wall of the dam and the helicopter fell ten metres, crashing into the ground.
Luckily no-one on board was seriously hurt and another helicopter flew in to take them back to safety.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
