Increased safety on Chamonix Route des Gaillands
Several days of road closure
Much needed changes to Route des Gaillands will see the addition of chicanes and a proper bus stop platform in efforts to reduce vehicle speed and increase safety for all road users.
Route des Gaillands will be closed to traffic the 2nd and 3rd of November between 08:00 and 18:00, to facilitate the roadworks. And again on the 9th and 10th for resurfacing work.
From mid-November a new, safer Route des Gaillands will be fully open and free of works.
