Results for the European Cup Cross Country Skiing Finals

France take gold, silver & bronze in the men's prologue race

After three gruelling days of competition, the Cross-country Skiing European Cup Finals are over, and the results are out.

Chamoniard Damien Tarantola took third place in the 3.3km prologue race, 6.9 seconds behind the leader, being beaten by follow countrymen Richard Jouve (who took 1st place in 7:45:8) and Paul Goalabre (2nd place +4.9 seconds). Tarantola also came 30th in the men's 15k individual race.

In the women's prologue race (2.5km), it was Austrian Nathalie Shchwarz who took gold with a winning time of 8:02:0, followed by Germans Lucia Anger (+1.2) and Laura Gimmler (+4.3).

In the under 20's categories, local Martin Collet took 10th place in the prologue and 9th in the individual race, a great achievement.
