A traditional looking savoyarde chalet-style restaurant with a large south-facing terrace.
The restaurant is open daily in winter, and is next to the beginning of the Plan Roujon chair lift in Grand Montet. In winter it's only accessible on a snowboard / skis, but summer it's accessible for pedestrians too.
Inside the restaurant is decorated in a typically Savoyard style, where chef Franco produces an a la carte menu and a seasonal menu including things like snail and reblochon cheese casserole, paella risotto, oxtail parmentier, and veal with mushrooms. They have been awarded the title 'Maitre Restaurateur', to recognize that the food is home made from fresh ingredients.
You can dine inside, or sit on the sunny south-facing terrace which has great views. Booking ahead for the restaurant is recommended.
If you've got less time on your hands, then the takeaway menu offers an antipasti buffet, pizzeria, tartiflette, dish of the day cooked in a giant pan, carvery, and a great dessert buffet.
There's enough seating for 330 on the terrace outside and almost the same inside (for self-service and takeaway), the restaurant seats 47 inside.
