Chamonix Activity Report: 12th October 2004

featured in Activity reviews Author Ellie Mahoney, Chamonix Editor Updated

Not much to report in this week's edition, the resort has gone fairly quiet. The first signs of Autumn are without doubt upon us, with the first leaves turning red and orange this week. Mornings have a certain chill and after a night of rainfall in town the peaks had their first proper dusting of snow for a while.

The PanCam has unfortunately been out of action for almost a week now - apologies for that, however it is completely out of our control. The power at the top of the mountain has gone whilst they repair the main aerial electrical cable. It should be back working soon though.

In the meantime we are off to the London Ski Show for the next few days so hopefully we will either see you there, or have some interesting things to report on our return!
