Why not try something new fo the holidays?

We're around half way through the winter season now, with the days starting to get longer and the spring in sight, but there are still plenty of new nights out to try before the snow disappears!

Having been closed for the month of January whilst changing hands, Chamonix's smallest bar, Boogie Woogie, celebrated its reopening this weekend. The long term manager, Cat has recently taken on the bar as her own and is excited to make a few changes to her super friendly bar. Long tables in the small bar area make for a really sociable atmosphere, where it's hard to avoid chatting to new people and, before you know it, enjoying a cocktail or a few shots with new friends!

Although it's easy to think that there wouldn't be space, this is often a great place to come and have a dance to one of Boogie Woogies great DJs, playing everything from funk and soul, disco and hip hop to rock and indie music.

Elsewhere in town, there are also a few mid season changes. Chef Stephan Jerkfelt has made the move to The Jekyll and is showcasing his finest Swedish cuisine with his Meatball Mania night one Friday every month. This feast is made up of a delicious seafood starter made from caviar, prawns and crayfish tails and followed by super tasty Meatballs in a tangy sauce served with deliciously smooth mash.

Later on, the famous No Limits boys keep the Scandi theme going with a Scandinavian acoustic set.

So if you're here for the first time, or have been lots of times boefore there's plenty of different nights out to try in Chamonix - check out our Bars page for lots of choice!
