Progression Ski and Snowboard is a renowned ski school that was set up in Val d'isere in 2006. They have been rated 10/10 by the Sunday Telegraph for their off-piste clinics and due to their great success, they have expanded to Chamonix.
The school was established with the aim of focusing on clients and their needs rather than the more prescriptive format some ski schools follow.
Their private lessons are the ultimate way to improve your skills with your own coach. They can be as technical and focused or as casual and guided as you want. They teach all ages and abilities so whether you are a complete beginner or have clocked up plenty of hours on and off-piste, they can help you achieve your personal goals.
They charge one basic price per lesson/instructor and do not add a surcharge on because there are more than one or two of you in the lesson.
In addition to private tuition they also offer:
- Group Lessons: Allowing you to join in with people of a similar level. With a maximum of six people in a group, they can guarantee you will make progress. Lessons run for the week from Monday to Friday and are three hours each day from 09:00 to 12:00.
- Clinics: Are aimed at stronger skiers that want to work on specific techniques but not be restricted by a full week of lessons.
- Off-piste Lessons: They have a full range of lesson types for all levels so there are options for everyone. Free ABS Airbags, transceivers, Shovels and Probes provided.
- Telemark Lessons: Take either a private lesson or try one of their taster clinics. If you are a solid parallel skier you should be making reasonable telemark turns within one lesson.
