Chamonix Snow Report: 14th April 2004
Days like this are fantastic. Completely clear skies started the day off with cold temperatures preserving the spring snow. The Brevent runs were firm initially and the obviously became slushier as temperatures warmed during the day.
Towards the middle of the afternoon the cloud cover came in flattening the light. Nonetheless the conditions and cover are still good. Serious suntans have been forth-coming!
Get out here for an end of season ski if you can.
It is no longer possible to ski back to the town.
The cross-country trails are now closed.
The PanoChamCam is now fully operational...we have some great images now available on the site webcams index.
